"Leadership is about character, what a person has, and how they inspire," –Jaime Augusto Zobel De Ayala
Ayala Corp Tower 1
Manila, Philippines
2016

The office of Ayala Corporation- a 180 years old Filipino Establishment, is set in an existing triangle-shaped building.

There was a clear disparity between its interiors, which was last refreshed 25 years ago, and its current identity.
Cluttered work areas to have narrow views out, due how the spaces were partitioned directly from the atrium, window apertures were largely reduced.
The narrow depth on each side of the building made department stacking a challenge and had an unwelcoming point of arrival. Corner of the footprint was anchored as its service core compromising its best views and natural light.

In line with the owner’s vision, to provide a quality lifestyle through the corporation’s products, services and pay homage to its heritage, the interior stance of the “Ayala Residence” was proposed to be delectably modern-contemporary, with hints of hospitality touches.

The interiors is punctuated by the owner’s art collection from their own museum, adding a warm hospitality touch.
The dark atrium, is now well lit with a feature wall punctuating its top level, showcasing the corporation’s history and forward looking future.
