White Jacket blends global inspirations and differentiated experiences to capture the essence of future luxury in hospitality and F&B design.
Created in 2010 by Patricia Ho Douven, White Jacket is an integrated, multi-disciplinary design studio supported by a team of creative, highly skilled, and driven designers bringing international exposures and experiences to a bespoke design studio. Even though hospitality work represents the core of our portfolio, we also focus on projects that challenge, stimulate and enhance our skills and experience. In our minds there are no boundaries in design, we aspire to create a holistic design world that encompasses all design elements. Like a fresh piece of canvas, projects are tailored to suit seamlessly to a design brief. This design approach results in our intimate involvement in customisation of art, furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories and our ability to lead graphic, uniform, cutlery and menu custom design.
We are constantly exploring more possibilities to expand our horizons as we strive to create every project with a unique and distinct personality. Our work is less sterile, more unique, more personal, more humane, more White Jacket.

By her own admission as an aesthete, bibliophile, compulsive traveler, and adventure fanatic, Patricia blends her passion in life with her work. She approaches each project as a well written novel, with a strong sense of drama and narrative. The design begins with a character and as the story develops and spaces take shape, the distinctive personalities emerge, so as does the environment.
Patricia was taught by a master artist at the tender age of seven. She has spent her childhood exploring the world around her using watercolour, pastel, and charcoal as her mediums. This experience has encapsulated the design style of atmospheric layering. Her design ethos of creating artistic spaces is unique to White Jacket. A reflection of a well-traveled, artistic and curious spirit influenced by multicultural sensibilities; each meticulously designed collection is a modern expression of present-day luxury – reduce the unnecessary but enlarge the experience.
